This modest project started as a simple side extension to create a larger kitchen, dining and living space.

It soon developed into very interesting collaborative design exercise with the client, who is a famous artist with very strong visual design principles.

A lot of effort went into making sure the space is as welcoming as possible.

As simple and robust palette of materials and large amounts of natural light creates a contemporary space that complements the original period property.
